Sr. BigData Developer

The Sr Data Engineer position will be responsible for evaluating, designing and developing technical solutions within the technology functions of the company in accordance with the policies and practices of Anthem. Also this position will be responsible for hands-on development of various current and new data warehouse initiatives while maintaining the exceptional level of professionalism and customer service standards that Anthem has attained within the healthcare industry

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make ongoing recommendations of solution standards and system configurations
• Work in cross-disciplinary teams to understand client needs and ingest rich data sources.
• Research, experiment, and utilize leading Big Data technologies in AWS
• Enabling an innovative approach to data platforms which greatly increase the flexibility,
• Scalability, and reliability of IT services at a lower cost
• Leading design reviews, planning , developing and resolving technical issues
• Delivering highly complex solution & Design using in-depth knowledge within the business domain
• Design data warehouses on platforms such as AWS Redshift, , Hadoop and other high performance platforms
• Design custom ETL processes based on customer needs and their existing data sources
• Optimize data warehouses for performance
• Contribute to the core design of data architecture, data models and schemas, and implementation plans
• Understand the practicalities of DevOps style (agile/lean) approaches to software development.
• Assist in technical presentations and info-sharing sessions to create a clear and uniform
• At times, responsible for assisting with client and project engagements to document technical requirements for database, applications, integration, infrastructure, etc.
• Develops and owns list of final enhancements, also performs technical design reviews and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field required
• 8+ years of experience with Big data technologies including Hadoop(Cloudera) , HBase, Spark, Hive,RedShift etc.,
• Strong experience with data integration technologies including Apache NiFi (or similar tools)
• 5+ years of experience in developing and maintain ETL processes
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server and Tableau high preferred
• Experience implementing solutions on the Public Cloud , AWS preferred
• Experience using AWS native tools (S3, EBS, EC2, EMR) preferred
• Experience building applications with Dev Ops tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory etc. is preferred
• 5+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo) a plus
• Experience designing and implementing Healthcare applications
• Experience with security and privacy standards; e.g. HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO27001 etc.,

Data Architect

Application Software Developer

We are looking for candidates who will be responsible for is responsible for developing new application, enhancing exiting EMR software applications and proposing methodologies for customizing software for each client. The Application Software developer is responsible for ensuring all developments (system applications, database, etc) comply with HIPPA and other governmental regulations. The Application Software Developer is responsible for enterprise networking and integration and development of documentation for training purposes and knowledge transfer within the company. The Application Software Developer coordinates the implementation of the software system, interfaces with the client, and creates change requests and performance tunes the software. In addition, the Application Software Developer customizes software to meet individual client requirements. The position also works with the underlying database tables and structures to extract data and present the output as information.

System Analyst

System Analyst will be involved in analyzing and evaluating electronic medical records based health care systems along with their components for enhancements and propose solutions. System Analyst will also be involved in reviewing key data objects specifying data representations for healthcare metadata that needs to be processed by the systems. Define new data flow patterns by mapping data points between target systems and source systems specific to cloud based systems and existing in house systems. System Analysts will understand the systems in landscape and develop system specific test cases with data flows patterns for various testing activities including regression testing. Responsibilities

• Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the Project Manager.
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Prepare a detailed Functional Specification Document (FDD) -Collaborate in planning initiatives in Application development, Systems architectures, future roadmaps, Operations and Strategic planning.
• Review Technical Design Document (TDD)-Provide recommendations for system architectures within the context of existing company data flow patterns, standards and company strategic objectives.
• Identify Industry Best Practices and 3rd Party Solutions.
• Manage the process of resolving software defects submitted to a bug tracking database.
